In Recent Times // August '15

I took this on our DC trip. xx I don't know what it is, but I adore this photo.

reading blogs, for the most part. I've just been so busy lately, what with our road trip to DC and all. Trust me, I'll be up and reading next month.

watching Sherlock! My friends have been telling me for years to try it out, but I just recently watched the first episode. All I can say is, it's absolutely amazing, and I definitely recommend it!

snacking on Nestle Drumsticks. These remind me so much of my childhood!

obsessing over room inspiration. ;) We're just starting the long process of redoing my bedroom, and while I am ecstatic, it's a whole lot of work! I'm looking for a color pallet right now, but I haven't found anything yet that's really caught my eye. Do you have any suggestions?

thinking about how it was raining for a month straight, and now there's no rain at all. We have such unusual weather over here!

doing back to school preparation. I start this week, which is crazy to think about. This summer has just gone by too fast! I created a blog, I went to Washington DC, and volunteered in my community ... It's been what I call a perfect summer.

inspired by the beautiful blogs and beautiful girls I've discovered lately. Amy and Tane have really kept me going this month.

I've wanted to find a new show or two to get sucked into. I'm really open to anything, so please do leave me a suggestion below. <3

At the Park of Roses (watch my video)
I feel like when I write something about me, I can write from my mind. I can share what I'm into as well as what I feel. And that can be really energizing... Anyways, since I've been on summer break, I've had plenty of time to just do the things I love. So without further adieu, in recent times I've been...

reading The Good Girls by Sara Shepard. If you enjoy YA novels that deal with stereotypical behavior, sweet but awkward relationships, and a whole lot of backstabbing, you'll enjoy this book. :)

watching really old episodes of Modern Family and season six of PLL! Do you think I should watch Switched At Birth? I just may add it to my TBW list.

snacking on pea crisps! These things are absolutely delicious, and make a perfect afternoon snack.

obsessing over the cruiser bike I am so fond of. It is a gorgeous mint green with a basket and those old-timey handles I adore. Hopefully one day it will be mine! ;)

thinking about the flash flood watch in my area. It's been so wet lately. I'm not fond of this dreary weather, and it just won't seem to go away.

doing extensive volunteer work in my town to encourage childhood literacy. As bloggers, I think we can all relate to and understand how critical reading has been to getting us to where we are today.

inspired by so many of my fellow teen bloggers (including ArusheeEveRachelle, and Vanshi). I think I have two dozen blogs on my blog roll now, and I am always looking for new ones to read and follow. You could even leave your link below, and I would be delighted to stop by. <3
